The fourth book in the series was released earlier. The Sacrifice was released on 20th September in the United Kingdom. WHSmiths stocked an exclusive version of the book with an alternate cover. auther says it is his worst book yet.
The Sacrifice focuses on Small Sam and The Kid as they try to reach Buckingham Palace.

The Wiki on the series, The Enemy and the sequels, The Dead, The Fear and The Sacrifice. The series focuses on groups of children who have been abandoned and left to fend for themselves, due to a disease which affects everyone over the age of 16. Not much is known about the disease, however before the apocalypse started most of the population of the United Kingdom were affected by said disease and either died or became cannibalistic creatures, yearning for the taste of flesh and blood - the children and in some cases each other. All of the books are set in England, London and the surrounding area to be precise.
