Franny is a minor character in the Enemy series. She is the head gardener for the Palace kids.
Appearance
Franny is described as being very thin.[1]
Personality
Franny is initially shy around newcomers, but when she starts to warm up to people, she becomes very jolly and well-spoken.
History
Before the disaster, Franny went to a boarding school. She knew a girl named Maxine who was "really into horses".[1]
After the disaster, Franny made it to Buckingham Palace and became the head gardener. She developed a crush on David King.
Synopsis
The Enemy (2009)
David introduces Franny to the Holloway crew, and tells them to go to her if they have any questions about gardening. Franny gives Ollie some lettuce to try, and while it tastes delicious, he finds a slug in it.[1] Later, Franny is at the feast for the Holloway crew and sits with Maxie.[2]
The End (2015)
Franny stays behind whilst the Battle of Hyde Park takes place, getting surprised when Pod returns early. He explains how David shot Nicola and they try to lock him out, having the same idea as Jester. Just John and his Squatters break in, destroying the palace and brutally murdering Pod. Franny grabs a garden pitchfork and stab Just John through the chest. She is last seen crying at what she has done whilst the Squatters laugh at her.[3]
