Bluetooth is a minor character in The Enemy and a major character in The Fear. He is a sicko nicknamed for the Bluetooth earpiece in his ear, and was one of Saint George's lieutenants.
Appearance
Bluetooth was an adult male sicko recognised by a Bluetooth earpiece stuck in his ear. He wore a dirty pinstriped City suit.[1]
Personality
Nothing is known about Bluetooth's personality before he became infected.
Bluetooth appeared to be more intelligent than most sickos, though he was not on the level of Saint George.
Biography
History
When the disaster began, Bluetooth became infected with the disease. At some point between The Dead and The Fear, he became part of Saint George's group and became one of his lieutenants.
"These are strange new times," said Matt. "But it was all there, in the pages of the Bible. We just had to be shown it properly." To prevent confusion, the following events are presented in the order they happen in-universe, rather than in the order of the books' release. |
The Fear (2011)
To be added.
The Enemy (2009)
While on his jog, Callum sees Bluetooth and the rest of The Fear trying to break into the Waitrose.[1] He later breaks down the gates to the supermarket and rips Callum apart.[2]
The Sacrifice (2012)
Shadowman watches Bluetooth and the other sickos in The Fear drag the twelve weakest-looking sickos into the middle of the group. After a moment's pause, the healthier sickos attack and devour the weakest ones.[3]
Bluetooth's group attacks Shadowman, Jaz, Ricky, and Johnny. He injures Jaz as the group tries to get into the hotwired car. Later, Bluetooth's group pursues Shadowman as he tries to make it to the centre of London to warn other children about The Fear.
At the end of the novel, Bluetooth is decapitated by a wounded Shadowman.[4]
