Ben is an emo and one of the "twins", the other being Bernie, and part of the Waitrose crew and later the Holloway Crew. He is skilled in engineering having made many modifications to the Waitrose base, including the gate and speaking tubes. Both Ben and Bernie are not eager to leave the shop but decide that they can always build new things wherever they end up. He is not a fighter and stays with the little kids during the journey to Buckingham Palace.
He and Bernie both leave the palace with the rest of the Holloway Crew to go to the Natural History Museum. It is presumed that they made it however, neither of them are mentioned during The Fallen. Although, they are later mentioned and make appearances in The End.
